Winter Is Coming

With winter brewing up a storm just beyond that last bit of sunshine, it’s time to make sure that you’ve got your wardrobe prepared for the cold and breezy days and nights that await you. To ensure you’re looking classy as anything and feeling completely cosied up, we’ve compiled a few different looks that will prove you to be the best dressed (and warmest) rugged queen this winter!

1. Knee High

Knee High Boots are a classic, timeless look for winter, and will never go out of style. The best thing about these slender beauties is that they can be teamed to compliment any head-to-toe look, from office to nightwear. Heading out to coffee with a friend? Why not pair them with a draped knitted dress for a simple and eye-catching look. For a day of retail therapy, dress them down with your favourite jeans, tights and a suede skirt for the perfect corporate look.

2. Dress It Up

It is much easier to dress things up in winter, with oversized coats, tight-fitting jeans and chunky bags. Another way to add a glamorous touch to your outfit is with a pair of sexy stilettos or heeled boots. We’re currently loving the laced up exposed toe look which any girl out on the town can pull off with ease and style.

Keep It Casual

This season we’re obsessing over a daggy comfort look that isn’t all too daggy at all! We’re talking mum jeans, loose tracksuit pants and casual sneakers or brogues. Pair your snug sneakers or lace-ups with high waisted pants to accentuate the grungy yet refined look when hitting the streets.

4. Nice n’ Neutral

Winter is the perfect time of year to whip out your neutral wardrobe items – this means get those greys, tans, beiges, whites out and ready to go! Layering is never a bad idea either, with slouchy jumpers, thick wooly scarves and ponchos.  The great thing about neutrals is that they can be worn for formal to casual occasions, and you can never have enough tones in your outfit. A high-quality, comfy nude flat or suede ankle boot would be the best choice to tie the whole setup together perfectly.
